Ibanez is always known for its brand name. GRG170DX is one of Ibanez’s seemingly unlimited supplies of quality electric guitars.
Design:
Its basswood body makes the unit light weighted and makes you feel very comfortable for extended playing. Ibanez GRG170DX electric guitar has a good balance of highs and lows, it is in between the alder and mahogany in sound character. This electric guitar features humbuckers and single coil picks.
This electric guitar has a classic design with very sharp contours and has a great sporty looking neck. The 24-fret rosewood fingerboard features edgy shark tooth inlays. They are available in a lot of finishes like Jewel blue, candy apple, black night and silver lime. The unit features Chrome hardware.
Performance:
The powersound pick-ups are extremely good. Ibanez loaded the guitar with the “Floyd Rose tremelo system”, which is great to play with and makes a nice change from the standard strat trem. It holds well and the string locks never seem to lose pitch, helping your tuning last for months.
The range of tones is quiet rich with good quality of intonation. Its accessories are easily available.
