Indie is on the guitar race in sending out yet another cool series of the Indie Designer Range. It is very interesting to know that all the electric guitars in this range are the same except for the designs on them. The quality of woods, pickups or the tuning keys, or the thickness of the body or the pots or wiring - you name it and the Indie is set out for perfect quality, preciseness and best value for the price spent.

GUITAR LINE ON PAR

Although the Indie Designer series are different in design and colour, they play extremely well with pickups that are good and strong enough. The workmanship of the guitar is of the best quality of materials from Korea.

This electric guitars tapers a wee bit to the inner edge and has a top curving which gives it a class of style and appears to be peppy. The rear of these guitars are usually embedded with the serial number as well as the machine heads in 2 rows set in 3-in-a-row.

Indie Designer electric guitars are 6-string guitars with a D profile hard Maple neck which is good enough to hold strongly. With a 42mm-width top nut and a rosewood fingerboard this electric guitar produces excellent music. The fingerboard is tight-grained and highly polished to give top quality waxy touch. The large and white Abolone Crowns are marked in their usual positions. There are 22 frets in a row without any rough edges which is extremely of high standard and helps in performing a perfect solo program. The neck joint to the mahogany body of this electric guitar is located at the 17th fret on the bass and 20th towards the treble side. Even if the cut is a bit shallow it does not create any access trouble towards the upper fret.

BODY OF THE INDIE DESIGNER

The body is carved out of a good and strong piece of Mahogany wood and both the back and sides are finished off glossily with the Top bound in plastic. Indie is very particular about the paint jobs that are highly detailed and usually flags are their special items. You cannot expect to see any overlapping of details or smudging of paints and the details are always perfect in symmetry. This workmanship is an example of the top quality of the Koreans.

As usual the Indies always prefer their own humbuckers which no doubt is good. They are the I-M8 hubuckers with a chroming cover and surrounds of cream plastic. The volume and tonal range of these humbuckers are pretty hot and catchy to the audience.

The LP controls are the usual Indie model with 2 tones and 2 volumes. There is one for each pick up with a 3-way switch as selector. This right handed guitar is completely adjustable with the regular Tune-o-Matic bridge and tailpiece.

The complete make and model of this electric guitar is a Les Paul design and is ideal for handling solo and higher pitches of music.
