It is probably one of the easiest guitars for your kid to start learning on. It features a double cut away body, rosewood fingerboard, 21 frets, maple neck, three single coil pickups, six per side configuration, chrome machine head hardware, shallow D neck profile, 14” fingerboard radius and rosewood fingerboard material, you really cannot go wrong with this small electric guitar. The controls included are, a volume pot, a tone control and a five way selector switch.

The Volcano Red ¾ size guitar has smaller hands so that your kids can develop his or her guitar skills at a quicker pace. Unlike the full sized electric guitars, this ¾ size guitar features a shorter scale length and thinner neck, to make sure that your kid is not under any strain and also will be having fun while learning.  Since the guitar has a scale length of 22.75”, it is best suited for kids aged between six and nine.

Sound:

Since the Volcano Red Kids Electric Guitar is relatively cheaper than the full sized guitars, do not expect them to sound like the more expensive full sized models. This electric guitar sounds great when amplified and has the same pickups as a full sized electric guitar, and the solid wood body of the guitar helps it to keep the guitar tone in tact too.

Verdict:

The Volcano Red ¾ size electric guitar is great for your kid, especially at this low price. Once your child gets older and proves that he or she is serious about playing the guitar, then, you could think of investing in a more expensive model. With a good built quality, great looks and a decent sound, your kid is guaranteed to be the coolest wee guitarist around once they get hold of this guitar.
