Stylish and classic:

The P29SBOFT is surprisingly good looking guitar for its price range. The model that we have reviewed here comes with sunburst finish, but this model is also available in black finish. Normally at this price, you will be expecting a basic flat slab body, but Encore has incorporated a nice element of carving to its top. This makes the piece look more like an expensive guitar, giving it a Les Paul vibe.  Though there are very minor flaws with the cosmetic finish, it would be really unfair to complain about it for what encore has offered for the price tag.

This 6 string guitar has covered tuners that are unsealed and of chrome type. They have smooth positive action. It has got a standard paddle style headstock that is three sided with an Encore logo on the pearloid. Encore has given P29 an antiqued plastic nut which abuts that rosewood fretboard. The guitar has got very small strap buttons that are situated on the edge of the top bout and bottom edge of the body. Overall, the Encore EBP-P29SBOF has a very neat and tidy look.

Fretboard:

As we had mentioned earlier, EBP-P29SBOF has a medium dark rosewood fretboard which has a rather very dry feel under the fingertips when it is very new.
